Another Hiatus and a Rant…

Well it looks like I had to take another break sort of.  Since my last post I figured I’d ease back into the blog not realizing “life could just happen”.  Unfortunately my “Real Life Families” 

(for all you REVIT users ) started having some problems so my better half and I had to stop and put our lives on hold. Fortunately, for now, everyone is stable. No deaths (thank God) and diagnosis for everyone is good. The bad part has been running back and forth to health care locations (Doctors, hospitals, rehabilitation centers etc., etc., etc…).

With all of this going on I’ve still managed to keep my consulting work / project going on (somewhat) and still managed to keep things going with my regular full-time position. To me, it seems like a ton of work just came out from nowhere. The absolute worst thing that has been happening, for me, with all of this work, is turning down projects, and or real overtime. Hopefully we can fix that within the month.

And finally, on to my rant…. We recently went out to purchase a “Canopy” for our “puppy” that’s not so small anymore. 

Within a day I had to take the darn thing back. So far this situation has not gotten to the “I’m Going Tell Everyone” stage but its close enough. Why, because the packaging from the canopy was made out of better material than the canopy its self.

1.)    It just doesn’t make any sense, to make a product and the carrying case is made better the product.

2.)    If you are going to do something like this, it (the product) had better be “Inexpensive”.  

This item to me was not, (well over $100) and like I said, we took it out of the box, looked at it and repacked it and took it right back to the store. What a waste of time that “I DO NOT HAVE”. 

 

 Anyway, I guess it would be quite understandable for anyone in my situation to put any side work like a blog off for a while. Again, I hope to be back and hope to have some good news the next time.
